- By default, Apache is turned off. To start it, got to your System Preferences, click on Sharing, and then check the Web Sharing checkbox in the list of services.
- Start, Stop and Restart Apache from the command line sudo apachectl start or sudo apachectl stop or sudo apachectl restart
